ONDAS is committed to community, and community is built through communication. In addition to monthly community classes, Ondas is also home to a Book Club, and offers a conversational Portuguese class. Scroll down to see details about each offering.
BOOK CLUB – While the bookclub focuses on works by Women of Color, each new selection is voted on by the group. The goal for 2021 is 8 books, meeting every 6-7 weeks throughout the year in a friendly and inclusive setting which welcomes all voices and perspectives.
At our next Book Club meeting we will discuss Namwali Serpell’s debut novel _Old Drift_. Join us Saturday, Nov 20th at 4:00pm, in-person or via Zoom.
