Join us on Saturday, May 22 for our FREE monthly Community Class! From 11am-2pm, 40 minutes all-levels classes that offer a preview of what we offer, our mission and our approach to culture, movement, and community! Classes are designed for ages 12+, and we have activities on-hand for the younger ones, too. This month will feature Yoga, Parkour, Percussion/Dance and Capoeira Regional.
Nildinha has her MFA in dance, and is a teacher and researcher of the African roots of Brasilian dance, as well as a celebrated performer, choreographer, and an artistic directors of the Balé Folclórico da Bahia, the first professional folkloric dance company in Brazil. Join us Sun, May 30th, 2:30pmCT via Zoom for DançaAfro (limited in-person space available). Sliding scale: $15-$20. Pre-Registration Required.
Audrey Soll brings us Yoga Fundamentals the first week of each month. Class will cover breath work, mudras, safe alignment, & ethical foundations found in Patanjali’s YogaSutras.
