Capoeira Regional and it’s related Afro-Brazilian arts offer something for everyone: an introduction to Brazilian culture and Portuguese language; music and traditional percussive instruments, folkloric dances, and of course, the iconic kicks, sweeps and dodges that make up the martial art of Capoeira Regional. Ondas is home to the Texas núcleo of Filhos de Bimba, a world-reknowned capoeira school based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Classes are lead by Professor Borboleta,  formada by Mestre Nenel.

A full schedule of Capoeira Regional classes are offered for children and for adults. Monthly and drop-in rates are available.

Adult newcomers must take an Introductory Class before joining group classes.
